9 Distinct Channel Branding

9 Distinct Channel Branding

The brand redesign featured a clean and modern brand identity with a unique color choice that would appeal to the Millennial demographic. 9 distinct channels were created to stand alone as a sub-publication under the Mic umbrella. They sought to build segmented audiences in the platform as well as on social media platforms.

A mobile app was built to form a stickier user habit around our content. It utilized the newly introduced dynamic push notification functionality in iOS, which supported multimedia content. The idea was to allow users to consume content in the notifications without even having to open the app. The readers would follow topics they were interested in to curate the push notification they would get.
